RESOLUTION NO. 5338
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING A PERMIT AND
AUTHORIZING ITS EXECUTION BY THE CITY .
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District main-
tains and operates a flood control channel beginning at the inter-
section of Dover Drive and Irvine Avenue in the City of Newport
Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to construct a footbridge
across said flood control channel in order to continue the sidewal
along the easterly side of Irvine Avenue where it intersects said
flood control channel; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District has
submitted a written permit authorizing the construction of said
bridge subject to the conditions contained in said permit; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of
said permit and found them to be reasonable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to execute said permit on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach.

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution
Noy 5338 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of November 19 60 by the following
