RESOLUTION N0. 5384
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING BOARDING CHARGES FOR
IMPOUNDED FOWL AND ANIMALS
WHEREAS, Section 4115 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that daily charges shall be made for boarding any
bird, fowl, dog, cat or other animal impounded under the provisions
of the Code and that such charge shall be established by the City
Council by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following daily
charges be established as boarding charges for impounded birds,
fowl, dogs, cats and other animals:
repealed.
(1) For any dog or cat,'One Dollar ($1.00).
(2) For any other animal weighing less than 100 lbs.,
Two Dollars ($2.00).
(3) For any other animal weighing more than 100 lbs.,
Four Dollars ($4.00).
(4) For any fowl or bird, Fifty Cents ($.50)0
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5375 is hereby
ADOPTED this 13h day of March, 1.
