1 RESOLUTION NO. 5393
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, Robert H. Reed has executed a grant of ease -
5 ment granting to the City of Newport Beach _a permanent easement
6 for street and highway purposes over the following- described real
7 property, to fait:
8 That portion of Lot 24, Block 230, Lancaster's Addi-
tion to Newport Beach, in the City of Newport Beach,
9 County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 5,-Page 14, of Maps in the office
10 of the Recorder of said county, described as follows:
11 Beginning at the Northwest corner of said lot, thence
Easterly along said Northerly lot line being also the
12 Southerly property line of 30th Street 28.37 feet;
thence South 62° 04' 30" West 25.22 feet; thence
13 Northwesterly along the.Westerly line of said lot
also being the Easterly property line of Newport Blvd.
14 13.00 feet to the point of beginning;

WHEREAS, it
is to
the
interest of the City to accept

said grant of easement
for
such
purposes;
1811 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
19 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
20 and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and
21 attach a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of
22 said grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
