2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
3 CONTRACT-WITH JAMES M. MONTGOMERY CONSULTING
ENGINEERS,.INC., FOR DESIGN OF A �6HNG STATION,
4 WATER MAIN ,.AND APPURTENANCES

6 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
7 the City of Newport Beach a certain contract between the City of
8 Newport Beach and James M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineers, Inc.,
9 for engineering services for the design of a pumping station, water
10 main, and appurtenances leading from Big Canyon Reservoir to the
11 school site of the Newport Beach School District lying easterly of
12 Mac Arthur Boulevard and northerly of Corona del Mar; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
14 conditions of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
15 equitable;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
17 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
18 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
19 Beach.
