2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
• 3 ADI AIVENDM ENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT

5 TA- 1EREAS, the City of Newport Beach and Kenneth 0. Farns-
6 worth and Eva May Farnsworth entered into a license agreement
7 dated the 1st day of January, 1960, concerning the use of the
8 Newport Pier by the licensee for the purpose of loading and unload -
9 ing customers on sport fishing boats, charter boats, and a shore
10 boat to transport said customers to and from a fishing barge; and
11 1,MIEREAS, Paragraph 6 of said license agreement contained
12 provisions concerning insurance the licensee was to carry; and
13 VMMEREAS, it appears that it would be to the mutual advan-
14 tage of the parties to amend said license agreement with respect to
15 said insurance coverage; and
16 V MEREAS, such an amendment to said license agreement has
17 been presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach and
18 the City Council has considered the terms and conditions thereof
19 and found them to be fair and equitable;
20 NOT =J, THEREFORE., BE IT.RESOLVED that said amendment to
21 license agreement between the City of Newport Beach and Kenneth 0.
22 Farnsworth and Eva May Farnsworth with respect to the provisions
23 in Paragraph 6 thereof concerning insurance coverage be approved,
24 and the Mayor and City Cleric are authorized and directed to execute
25 the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
