2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
3 SEXIER MAIN REFLACMENT IN THE SOUTH SPEEDHAY
ON 3ALBOA ISLAND

5 W ERZAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of sewer maim replacement in the South Speedway on
7 Balboa Island, City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plays
g and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
9 4th day of May, 1961, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 'tCM3AS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidders
11 therefor is James I. Galla.c'ner9
12 N('id, TiERBFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Jones I.
13 Gallagher in the amount of $64,913.32 be accepted and that the
14 contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fayor and City Clerk are
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Nersraort Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 1 an executed copy to the successful bidder.

said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on

vote, to wit:
