A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4870
RELATING TO PARKING METER ZONES
WHEREAS, parking meter zones have been established by
Resolution No. 4870 pursuant to Chapter 2 of Article III of the
Newport Beach Municipal -Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Resolution No. 4870 has been
amended by Resolution No. 5119 to include certain areas of certain
other streets within parking meter zones; and
WHEREAS, traffic and parking conditions require that
certain areas of Thirty= second Street should be eliminated from
parking meter zone 5; and
WHEREAS, said elimination can be accomplished by further
amendment to Section 2 of said Resolution No. 4870;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Section 2 of Resolu-
tion No. 4870 be amended to read:
"Section 2. The following on- street parking
meter zones are hereby established:
Zone 1 Northeasterly side of McFadden
Place between Balboa Boulevard
and Court Street
Zone 2 Main Street between Bay Avenue and
Balboa Boulevard
Balboa Boulevard between "A" Street
.and Adams
Bay Avenue between Main and Palm
Newport Boulevard between 216t
Street and 30th Street
Southwesterly side of McFadden
between 22nd Street and.Ocean.Front
Court Street between 20th Street and
McFadden Place
Twenty third Street between Ocean
.Front and Balboa Boulevard
Twenty- second Street between Ocean
Front and Balboa Boulevard
