RESOLUTION NO. 5410
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
• 3 INSTALLING LIGHTING-STANDARDS IN TRACT. 2202
AND 3542

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of installing lighting standards in Tract 2202 and
7 35429 City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and
8 specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 18th
9 day of May, 1961, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is E. D. Johnson and Company;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of E. D.
13 Johnson and Company in the amount of $11,518 be accepted and that
14 the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
16 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
17 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
18 of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
19 I to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
