2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING A PORTION
• 3 OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN-AS AVON STREET WHICH
IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP ANA - ABANDONED

5 1,1HEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
6 has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
7 a certain map entitled "Vacation of Street R/W at Avon St. &
8 Riverside Ave. ", Drawing No. L- 3108, dated 6 -1 -61, showing a
9 portion of said Avon Street in the City of Newport Beach which the
10 City is considering vacating, closing up and abandoning and which
11 portion is more particularly described as follows:
12 That portion of Tract No. 919, as shown on a map
recorded in book 29, pages 31 to 34 inclusive of
13 Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot E of said
15 Tract No. 919 said point being the beginning of a
curve in the Southwesterly line of Lot D of said
16 Tract No. 919 concave Southwesterly..having a radius
of 409.51 feet a radial line through said point
17 bears North 300 35' 3510 East; thence Southeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of 4° 09' 25"
18 a distance of 29.71 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Northerly having a radius of 96.60 feet;
19 thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 21° 530 06" a distance of 36.90 feet, said
20 point being the true point of beginning; thence
continuing Easterly and Northeasterly along said curve
21 through a central angle of 62° 12' 54" a distance of
104.89 feet to the end of said curve;. thence South
22 280 59' 30" West parallel with the center line of San
Bernardino.Avenue, as shown on said map, a distance
23 of 45.53 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northerly having a radius of 25.00 feet;
24 thence Southerly and Westerly along said curve through
a central angle of 86° 23' 12" a distance of 37.69 feet;
25 thence tangent to said curve North 64° 37' 18" West
zs 44.44 feet to the true point of beginning.
27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is
• 28. hereby approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
29 directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on_
