RESOLUTION NO. 5432
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF IEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the glower and duty to establish the salary of the City Manager;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5258 established the salary of
the City Manager beginning July 1, 1960;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1961, Resolution No. 5258 be rescinded and that the salary of the
City Manager beginning July 1, 1961, shall be $18,000 per
fiscal year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweetsiy install -
ments as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the prepara-
tion of the City's payroll.
