RESOLUTION NO. 5433
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH.FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the power and duty to fix the salary of the City Attorney and
to designate the time to be devoted to the duties of the office in
the resolution fixing the compensation; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5259 established the salary of
the City Attorney beginning July 1, 1960, and the time to be devot
to the duties of the office;
NOb7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1961, Resolution No. 5259 be rescinded and that the salary of the
City Attorney beginning July 1, 1961, shall be $15,500 per
fiscal year for full -time employment, payable in monthly, semi.mon
or biweekly installments as is most convenient in the ordinary co,
of the preparation of the City's payroll.
