RESOLUTION N0. 5434
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the power and duty to establish the salary of the City Clerk,
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5260 established the salary of
the City Clerk beginning July 1, 1960;
NOi32 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1961, Resolution No. 5260 be rescinded and that the salary of the
City Cleric beginning July 1, 1961, shall be $7800 per
fiscal year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly install-
ments as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the prepara-
tion of the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this 26th day of June, 1960.

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution Noe 5434 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
