RESOLUTION NO. 5436
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIC CITY
OF NETs1PORT BEACII. ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEIMT
WHEREAS, Signal Oil and Gas Company, a Delaware corpora-
tion, has executed a grant of easement granting to the City of
Newport Beach an easement for street and highway purposes over all
that certain land situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows,

All that portion of that certain road delineated as Lan-
caster Street on the nap of Tract No. 772, recorded in
Book 23, pages 5 to 7, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Tlaps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of Lot 2 of Block 17
of said Tract No. 772; thence Southwesterly along the
Southwesterly prolongation of the Northwesterly line of
said Lot 2 to an intersection with the center line of
said Lancaster Street; thence southeasterly along said
center line to an intersection with the Northeasterly
prolongation of the Northwesterly line of Lot 14 in
Block 3 of said Tract No. 772; thence Northeasterly
along said Northeasterly prolongation to the Southwest-
erly line of Lot 1 in Block 17 of said Tract No. 772;
thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of
said Lots 1 and 2 to the point of beginning;
wHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said gram of easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attachi
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
