RESOLUTION NO. 5456
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH. ATJARDING A C014TRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FIFTH.AVENUE BETWEEN DAHLIA
AND IRIS AVENUES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of Fifth Avenue between Dahlia and
Iris Avenues in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
the 6th day of July, 1961, and publicly opened and declared; and
AREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Sully-Miller Contracting Co.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Sully-
Miller Contracting Co. in the amount of .12,871.24 be accepted and
that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
