�MREAS, the City of Newport Beach has had a contract

with the
County of Orange to conduct soil tests to determine
8
pavement
design; and

W12REAAS, an amendment to said agreement has been pre -
l0
pared which, if approved by the County and City, would extend
11
the term
of said agreement through June 30, 1962; and
12
GEMREAS,.the agreement has been in effect and has proved
13
to be satisfactory to both parties;

Clerk be
and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
16
amendment on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
