RESOLUTION NO. 5461
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEWPORT HARBOR LAWN
BCMING ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Newport Harbor
Lawn Bowling Association entered into an agreement for the main-
tenance of the lawn bowling green at 15th Street and Balboa Blvd.,
which agreement expired June 30, 1961; and
WHEREAS, a new agreement has been presented to the City
Council providing for the maintenance of said green from July 1,
1961, through June 30, 1962, under substantially the same terms
and conditions as the previous agreement, at the cost to the City
of $75.00 per month; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the term of said
agreement and found them to be fair and equitable and in the best
interests of the City;
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
