5 IVRE AS, pursuant to the Notice Invitiang Bids for work
6 consisting of the construction of Upper Bay mater main inter -
7 connections in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
8 plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
9 the 20th day of July, 1951, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 1r3HI.E-n " S, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is the hood Corporation;
12 NCH, TMREFOI -, PEE IT RESOLVED that the bid of tZae Hood
13 Corporation in the amount of $87,883 be accepted and that the
14 contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTI R RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Cler, are
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 an executed copy to the successful bidder. �5

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
