AGRE ENT WITH T= COUNTY OF URANGE CONCZRNING
THE MAINTENANCE OF COM4UNICATI0NS EQUIPMENT.
VRMREAS, the County of Orange has facilities to maintain
communications equipment; and
MMIRMAS, the City presently has an agreement with the
County for the maintenance of communications equipment for police,
fire, and lifeguard services; and
MIEN ZAS, the County is also willing to enter an agreement j
to provide for the maintenance of the City's radio comet micatieas
system used in the utility services; and
IMMMS, such a contract has been prepared and submitted
to the City Council; and
MAMMAS, the City Council binds the terms and conditions
of said agreement to be fair and equitable;
NOES, T=FORZ, BE IT RESOLVED that said communications
agreement be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby autrac
ized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
