RESOLUTION N0. 5481
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, records in the County Recorder's office indicate
that the Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach on February 28,
1936, executed a deed to the City of Newport Beach conveying Lot 1
in Block 14 of Tract 772, in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 23, Pages
5 and 6, of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of said County; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the delinquency has subsequently
been paid and the encumbrance not removed; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City does not now have any
interest in said lot and it would be proper to execute a quitclaim
deed releasing the apparent interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed releasing the
City's apparent interest in said lot to the owner or owners of
record.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on,
