RESOLUTION NO. 5496
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, as subdivider of Tract No.
3201, is obligated to provide a permanent drainage facility for
said tract; and
WHEREAS, the permanent drainage facility must go across
property owned by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the actual grading of said property has not be
determined and it would be more convenient to construct the perma-
nent drainage structure after the final grading of the Locld%eed
property; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a
contract which requires The Irvine Company, as subdivider of
Tract No. 3201, to maintain a temporary drainage ditch and to
construct a permanent drainage facility prior to August 21, 1965;
and
TMEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of said
agreement and found them to be satisfactory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the City.
