A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
A
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport
Beach an easement for street and highway purposes over the following-
described real property.in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, to wits
and
All that portion of Lot 2 Tract No. 1125 as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 39, pages 7 and 8, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California, lying within
a strip of land fifty (50) feet in width lying easterly of
and adjoining the following described.linea
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line
of Coast Highway (now known as Pacific Coast Highway) with
the center line of Seventeenth Street (now known as Dover
Drive) as shown on a map of Tract No. 1219 recorded in
Book 38, pages 26 and 27, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California, said point being Engineers
Station 37 +81.23 as shown on California State Highway
Plans District VII, Orange County Route 60, Section B,
approved January 25, 1932, said point being the beginning
of a curve, concave easterly and having a radius of 800.00
feet, a radial to said point bears S. 89° 17' 00" W.;
thence, northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 19° 34' 2811, an arc distance of 273.31 feet to
a tangent line; thence, N. 18° 51' 28" E., along said
tangent line 8.03 .feet to a tangent curve, concave West-
erly and having a radius of 800.00 feet; thence, north-
erly along said curve through a central angle of 40° 27'
5811, an arc distance of 565.01 feet to a tangent line,
said tangent line being parallel with and 10.00 feet
easterly from said center line of Dover Drive; thence,
N. 21° 36' 30" W., along said parallel line 169.51 feet
to a tangent curve, concave easterly and having a radius
of 800.00 feet; thence, northerly along said curve through
a central angle of 47° 00' 0011, an arc distance of 656.24
feet to a tangent line, said tangent line being parallel
with and 10.00 feet easterly from the center line of
Seventeenth Street, (now known as Dover Drive) as shown
on a map of Tract No. 1125 recorded in Book 39, pages 7
and 8 Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said County; thence,
N. 25$ 23' 30" E., along said parallel line 1218.49 feet
to a tangent curve, concave southeasterly and having a
radius of 1200.00 feet; thence, northeasterly along said
curve through a.central angle of.17° 40'.43 ", an arc
distance of 370.26 feet to a point in the center line of
Dover Drive as.shown on .a map-of Tract No. 1396 recorded
in Book 104, page 45, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said
County, said point being distant S. 43 04' 13" W., 371.02
feet, more or less, from the intersection of said center
line with the center line of Seventeenth Street (now known
as Westcliff Drive) as shown on said map;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant of easement for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City. Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
a certificate.of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
