RESOLUTION N0. 5501
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH.ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, R. Donald Hall and 0. C. Struthers have executed
a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach an ease-
ment for street and highway purposes over the following - described
real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, to wit:
and
A portion of 30th Avenue as shown upon a map of
Corona del Mar recorded in Miscellaneous Maps
Book 3, pages 41 and 42, records of Orange County,
California, and vacated'by Ordinance No. 297 of
the City of Newport Beach and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 20,
Block 331, as shown upon said map of Corona del
Mar; thence North 50 01 0" West along the
southwesterly line of 1st Avenue (formerly 53rd
Place) as shown upon said map of Corona del Mar
a distance of 1.32 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave to the south and having a
radius of 40.00 feet, said tangent point being
the most easterly corner of that certain parcel
of land described in deed to the City of Newport
Beach, recorded in Book 638, page 214, official
records Orange County; thence westerly along
said curve and along the southerly line of said
parcel an arc distance of 25.34 feet to an inter-
section with the center line of said 30th Avenue;
thence South 400 0` 0t' West along said center line
a distance of 20.27 feet; thence North 61° 01 0"
East a distance of 15.79 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve, concave to the southeast and
having a radius of 20.92 feet; thence northeast-
erly along said curve an arc distance of 25.19
feet to the point of beginning;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant of easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
grant of easement in the County Recorder's oA£ice.
