A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed a Corporation Grant Deed as a Road Easement granting
to the City of Newport,Beach an easement for road purposes over and
under the following described real property in the county of Orange
state of California:
and
A portion of Lot 443, Block 56 of Irvine's Subdivision
as said Irvine's Subdivision is shown on a map recorded
in Book 1, Page 88, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California, more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at Engineers station 117+60.89 in the center-
line of Jamboree Road as said Jamboree Road is described
in Book 4110, Page 10, Records.of Orange County, Calif-
ornia; thence South 66' 14' 30A1 East 50.00 feet to a
point in the common boundary between said Jamboree Road
and a parcel of land in said Block 56 of said Irvine's
Subdivision leased to the Ford Motor Company as said
Lease is described in a document, recorded in Book 4140,
Page 386, Records of said Orange County, said point
being 826.95 feet from the most Northwesterly corner
of said Ford Motor Company lease, said point bein also
the true point of beginning; thence North 230 45 30"
East along said common boundary between said Jamboree.
Road and said Ford Motor Company Lease a distance of 70.00
feet; thence South 66° 14' 30" East 55.00 feet; thence
South 230 45' 30" West 140.00 feet; thence North 66° 14'
30" west 55.00 feet to an intersection with said common
boundary between said Jamboree Road and said Ford Motor
Company lease; thence.North 23. 45' 30" East along said
common boundary 70.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
AREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant of easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording in the
County Recorder's office of said grant of easement together with
drawing No. L -2942 of the City of Newport Beach Public Works Depart
ment attached thereto, dated 10 -5 -61, entitled "Easement for
