2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NZ14PORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE "A"s ADOPTED BY
3 RESOLUTION NO. 5429 RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION
AND COI-WENSATION

5 I.M.REAS, Resolution No. 5429 was adopted pursuant to
6 Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and adopted
7 Schedules "A ". "B" and "C" setting forth the classification and
8 compensation plan of the City upon recommendation of the City
9 Manager;' and
10 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that Schedule "A"
11 be amended to delete the title "Assistant Fire Chief"' from salary
12 gauge Wo. 36, add the title "Fire Battalion Chief' to salary range
13 No. 35, and add the title "Deputy Fire Chief" to salary ravage No.
14 379
15 NOEJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective January 1,
16 1962, Schedule 3PACl adopted by Resolution No. 5429 is mended by
17 deleting the title "Assistant Fire Chief" from salary range No. 36,
18 adding the title "Fire Battalion Chief" to salary range Igo. 35, and
19 adding the title SODeputy Fire Chief " to salary range No. 37.
20 BE IT FURT12R. RESOLVED that, except as specifically
21 changed, the provisions of Schedule °"A"d and Resolution ZTo. 5429
22 shall continue in full force and effect.
23 ADOPTa?D at an adjourned regular meeting this 30th day of
24 October, 1961.
