RESOLUTION NO. 5505
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING TO EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT WITH COSTA MSA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
REGARDING THE SERVICE OF WATER TO ARMS BEING
EXCLUDED FROM SAID DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Costa Mesa County Water District is excluding
certain areas of said District that lie within the City of Newport
Beach known as Seaquist Annexation, Stricker Annexation, Harbor
Highlands, and 22nd Street Annexation; and
WHEREAS, a contract has been prepared providing for the
City of Newport Beach to take over service of crater in said areas
aiid to pay Costa Mesa County Water District certain amounts for
certain pipelines, meters and services within each of such areas
being excluded from said District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of said
agreement and found the same to be fair and equitable and acceptab
to the City;
NOu THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
