RESOLUTION NO. 5506
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRAATT.OF EASEMENT
WK-1EREAS, Oscar B. Phillips and M. Louise Phillips have
executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach,
a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, a permanent
easement for flood control purposes in, over, and under the
following- described real property:
A strip of land 15.00 feet wide in Lot 41, Tract 3135,
in the city of Newport Beach, county of Orange, State
of California, per map recorded in Book 103, pages 31,
32 and 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County recorder of said county, said strip lying
contiguous to and northeasterly of the centerline of
the 10 foot bride stores drain easement across Lots 26,
40 and 41 as shown on the .map of said Tract 3135;

15 W14EREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
16 said grant of easement for such purposes;
17 NOWT TY4EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
18 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
19 and the City Cleric is authorized and directed to execute and
20 attach a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording in
21 the County Recorder's office of said grant of easement together
22 with the City of Newport Beach Public Works Department drawing No.
23 L -3120 dated 7- 10»61, entitled "Storm Drain Easement Tract 3135 ",
24 showing as Parcel No. 1 the location of said easement and detail
25 thereof.
