RESOLUTION NO. 5507
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NMWPORT BEACH FINDING AND DECLARING GJHETHER A
MAJORITY PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE BY THE PROPERTY
(JNERS AT TITS HEARING ON THE .ANNEXATION OF THE
TERRITORY KN%NN AS "FIRST ADDITION TO SUPERIOR
AVENUE ANNEV
WEREAS, proceedings have been initiated to annex to the
City certain territory designated as "First Addition to Superior
Avenue Annex "; and
TPMREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5475
describing the boundaries thereof, designating the territory by a
name, and setting Monday, the 13th day of November, 1961, at the
City Council Chamber, City Hall, 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport
Beach, California, as the tine and place for the City Council to
hear written protests against the annexation by persons owning
real property within said territory; and
WHEREAS, said resolution was published, posted, and dis-
11tributed as required by law and said hearing was held in accordance
with the notice thereof and finally adjourned on November 13, 1961,
and the City Council heard and passed upon all protests so made;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
Ilhereby finds and declares that a majority protest was not made
against the annexation to the City of Newport Beach of the
designated as "First Addition to Superior Avenue Annexed.
