5 WMIREAS, an annexation proceeding is now being processed
6 to accomplish the annexation to the City of Newport Beach of
7 certain territory designated as 79First Addition to Superior
8 Avenue Annex"; and
9 &31ERsAS, the City water resin along Superior Avenue
10 adjacent to the property being annexed is not adequate to serve
11 the property it now serves, the property being annexed, and
12 additional property that may be served therefrom in the future;
13, and
14 I &UMEAS, there has been presented to tae City Council
15 an agreement under which Carl M. Buck, Jr., and John B. Kilroy,
16 owners of the property being annexed, agree to pay City t "ze sum
i
17 of $1800 for the privilege of connecting to said water me-1n, and
18 City agrees to use said payment to increase the capacity of said
19 lire, provide additional water facilities in the area, or
20 improvements to the existing City water system which will be of
21 berefit to said property; and
22 tdlEMAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of
23 said agreement and fotmd them to be satisfactory;
24 I'lo s —AE aFmR&d, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
25 approved and the TQyor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
26 to execute the same on behalf of the City o£ Newport Beach.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on,
the 13th day of November 1961 by the following
vote, to wit:
