2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT.OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporati
5 has executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport
6 Beach an easement for street and highway purposes over all that
7 certain land situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
8 Orange, State of California, described as follows:
9 The southwesterly 25 feet of Block 93 of Irvine's
Subdivision, in the county of.Orange, State of
10 California, per map recorded in Book 1, page 88
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
11 Recorder of said county.
12 EXCEPT therefrom the southeasterly 416.80 feet of
said Block 93.

ALSO EXCEPT therefrom the northwesterly 3,613.20
14 feet of said Block 93;
15 and

WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
17
said grant of easement for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
19
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
20
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attar
21
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
22
grant of easement in the County Recorder's office, together with
23
City of Newport Beach Public Works Department drawing No. L »3121
24
dated 8-25 -61, entitled "Street Easement for Fifth Avenue Between
25
Dahlia Ave. & Iris Ave.", ghowing the location of said easement.

ADOPTED this 27th day of Nov ber 1961.
