RESOLUTION NO. 5521
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONS
STRUCTION OF A SEWER BYPASS IN BUCK GULLEY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of a sewer bypass in Buck Gulley
in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 7th
day of December, 1961, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Staler, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, subject to the
acquisition of the necessary right -of --way, the bid of Staler, Inc.
in the amount of $5,373 be accepted and that the contract for the
construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, subject to said acquisition
of right-of-way, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract in accordance with the specifica-
tions., bid and this award on behalf of the City of Newport Beach,
and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish an executed copy
to the successful bidder.

the foregoing Resolution Noe 5521 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of December 19 61 by the following
vote, to wit:

Hart, Lorenz, Somers
