2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH_ AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF,A
3 CONTRACT. WITH JAMES M.. MONTGOMERY, CONSULTING
ENGINEERS..,- .INC., FUR,DESIGH OF WATER MAIN.
4 EXTENSION

6 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
7 the City of Newport Beach a certain contract between the City of
8 Newport Beach and James M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineers, Inc.,
9 for engineering services for the design of the extension of the
10 principal transmission main of the City's water system from its
11 present terminus at Irvine Avenue and Santiago Drive northerly
12 along Irvine Avenue and Tustin Avenue to a point on Tustin Avenue
13 300 feet, more or less, northerly of the intersection of Del Mar
14 Avenue and Tustin Avenue; and
15 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
16 conditions of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
17 equitable;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
19 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
20 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
21 Beach.
