RESOLUTION NO. S 3 3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH_AUTHORIZING,THE EXECUTION OF.AN
ARTERIAL HIGMJAY..FINANCING.AGREEMENT. WITH -THE
CQUNTY_OF.ORANGE F OR IMPROVEMENT OF, JAMBOREE
ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 5532 request
the County of Orange to allocate funds to aid the City of Newport
Beach during fiscal year 1962 - 1963 in the improvement of
Jamboree Road from Bayside Drive to MacArthur Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, by said resolution the City agreed that its
share of the cost of improvements and rights of way would be avail-
able for the fiscal year 1962 - 1963; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain Arterial Highway Financing
Agreement between the City of Newport Beach and the County of Oran
for the improvement of Jamboree Road from Bayside Drive to Palisad
Road, which said agreement has been reviewed and found to be fair
and equitable and it is in the interest of the City to execute the
same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved and that
the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
