2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH- FINDING.AND.DECLARING WHETHER A .
3 MAjORITY.PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE, BY THE.PROIE RTY
OWNERS. AT. THE HEARING. ON THE-ANNEXATION OF THE
4 TERRITORY XNOWN -AS. "ANNEXATION NO. 50"

WHEREAS, proceedings have been initiated to annex to the
7
City certain territory designated as "Annexation No. 50 "; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5560
9
describing the boundaries thereof, designating the territory by a
10
name, and setting Monday, the 23rd day of April, 1962, at 7:30
11
P. M. on said day, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 3300
12
Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California, as the time and
13
place for the City Council to hear written protests against the
14
annexation by persons owning real property within said territory;
15
and
16
WHEREAS, said resolution was published, posted, and dis-
17
tributed as required by law and-said hearing was held in accordance
18
with the notice thereof and finally adjourned on April 23, 1962,
19
and the City Council heard and passed upon all protests so made;
20
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
21
hereby finds and declares that a majority protest was not made
22
against the annexation to the City of Newport Beach of the territor
23
designated as "Annexation No. 50 ".

ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 1962.E
