RESOLUTION NO. 5587
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT FOR CONVEYING.SEWAGE
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain contract between the City of
Newport Beach and the Costa Mesa Sanitary District of Orange County,
California, under which the District would receive sewage from
Tract No. 4444 in the City of Newport Beach in the District sewer
line in Silver Lane in Tract No. 3068 and transport the same to the
Orange County Sanitation District lines; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said contract and found them to be fair and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract be
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach,
ADOPTED this .14th day of May, 1962.
