RESOLUTION NO. 53
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT -OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, nary E. Gustafson and Daniel R. Gustafson have
executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach
an easement for street and highway purposes over the following-
described real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:
A portion of Lot 15 of Block 45 of River Section as
shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 4, page 25
of Miscellaneous Maps, Official Records of Orange
County, California, more particularly described as
follows:
and
That portion of said Lot 15 which lies northeasterly
of the northwesterly prolongation of the southwest-
erly line of Lot 16, said Block 45, of said River
Section;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant of easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 1962.

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5594 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of May 1962 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Stoddard, Gruber, Cook, Hart, Lorenz,
Marshall, Elder
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
