A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, THE IRVINE COMPANY, a corporation duly organized
and existing under the laws of the State of West Virginia, has
executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach
an easement for street and highway purposes over the following-
described real property in the City of Newport Beach, County •f
Orange, State of California, to wit:
and
A strip of land 132.00 feet wide in Block 51, of
Irvine's Subdivision in the County of Orange, State
of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 1,
page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, said strip lying
66.00 feet on each side of the centerline which is
described as follows:
Beginning at the southerly corner of the northwesterly
one -half of the southeasterly one -half of Block 50 of
said Irvine's Subdivision as said corner is shown on
a map attached to a deed to said County of Orange,
recorded in Book 1955, page 115, official records of
said county: thence S. 39' 43' 50 "W., 112.69 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave south-
easterly and having a radius of 1,600 feet; thence
southerly 1,311.01 feet along said curve through a
central angle of 46' 56' 49fl0; thence tangent to
said curve S. 7' 12' 59C9 E., 465.86 feet to the begin-
ning of a tangent curve.conceve westerly and having a
radius of 2,400 feet; thence, southerly 613.16 feet
along said curve through a central angle of 14' 38' 179°
to a point of tangency with a line that is parallel
with and 16.00 feet westerly of the centerline of
Jamboree Road as described in a deed to said county
recorded in Book 4110, page 10, official records of
said county.
The basis of bearings for this description are those
used in a deed to said County of Orange recorded in
Book 1037, page 269, official records of said county
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to etdept
said grant of easement for such purposes;
NO"tel, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and at•+
tack a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of

said grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
