RESOLUTION NO, - TO
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beacon acquired a certain
sewer system and easements by a corporation deed dated November 14,
1911, from Newport Bay Investment Company to the City of Newport
Beach, recorded June 4, 1912, as Document No. 23444 in Volume 217,
page 302, of Deeds, records of Orange County, California; and
WHEREAS, said easement was over a portion of Lot 4, Block
1, Balboa tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 11, of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County; and
WHEREAS, the City has no present facilities in said Lot
4 and has no present or future need for said easement over said
Lot 4; and
WHEREAS, the existence of said easement interferes with
use of said Lot 4;
NOW2 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quit -
claim deed releasing the City's interest in said Lot 4 acquired by
said corporation grant deed.
ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 1962.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of May 19 62 , by the following
vote, to wit:
