RESOLUTION N0. 5605
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CONIlvIMITY
YOUTH CENTER OF NEWPORT HARBOR FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A RETAINING WALL
WHEREAS, the City and the Community Youth Center entered
into a contract pursuant to Resolution No. 5536, to construct a
.retaining wall along the northerly side of Fifth Avenue extending
westerly from the northerly prolongation of Iris Avenue adjoining
the baseball diamond at the Corona Del Mar Youth Center; and
WHEREAS, due to a mutual mistake on the estimate of the
cost of the wall, the amount to be paid by City was less than .:
intended; and
WHEREAS „ an amendment to said agreement has been prepared,
calling for the City to pay that part of the cost of the wall actu-
ally intended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said amendment
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
