A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING AN INDENTURE
WHEREAS, John B. Kilroy and Rejac Corp. have executed an
511 indenture granting to the City of Newport Beach a non- exclusive
611 easement for drainage purposes over the following- described real
711 property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
8 California, to wits
9 An Easement for drainage purposes in Lot 169, Block 2 of
Irvine subdivision, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 1,
10 pate 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, said easement being a strip of land 56.00
11 feet wide, 28.00 feet on each side of a centerline

described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of Placentia Avenue and
13 Superior Avenue (formerly Newport Avenue) as shown on a
Record of Survey filed in Book 15, Page 30, of Record of
14 Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California; thence South 22° 18' 09" East along
15 the centerline of Placentia Avenue Extension -as deeded
to the County of orange, recorded April 24, 1951 in Book
16 2180, Page 236 of Official Records a distance of 687.93
feet; thence leaving said centerline of Placentia Avenue
17 North 670 41' 51" East 30.00 feet to the sideline of said
Placentia Avenue, being also the beginning of a curve
18 tangent to said sideline, concave Southeasterly and having
a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said
19 curve through a central angle of 900 00' 004e an arc
distance of 39.27 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve,
20 tangent, concave Northerly, and having a radius of 426.62
feet; thence Easterly along said curve, through a central
21 angle of 270 41' 51" an arc distance of 206.23 feet to a
line tangent; thence along said tangent line North 40°
22 00' 00" East 566.31 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence.South 50° 00' 00" East a distance of 420.32 feet to
23 a point in the Westerly -Right of Way line of State Highway
55; side lines of said easement to be lengthened and
24 shortened to end in said right of way line;
25 and
26 wHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
• 27 indenture for such purposes;
2811 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
29 the City of Newport Beach that said indenture be accepted and the
30 City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach a
31 certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said

the foregoing Resolution Noe 5608 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of June , 19 62 , by the following
vote, to wit:
