2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CON -
3 S^1RUCTION OF. UPPER BAY FYATER LOOP, IRVINE AVENUE
AND TUSTIN AVENUE FROM 22ND STREET TO MIRA L,OMA
4 PLACE

6 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bias for work.
7 consisting of the construction of Upper Bay Water Loop, Irvine Avennu
8 and Tustin Avenue from 22nd Street to Mira Loma Place, in the City
9 of Newport Beach, in accordance with the playas and specifications
10 heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 21st day of June,
11 1962, and publicly opened and declared; and
12 WHZ0EAS, it appears that the laaest responsible bidder
13 therefor is E.C. Losch Co. , Inc. s
14 N(70� TMZREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bad of
15 E. C. Losch Co., Inc. in the amount of
16 $39,955.72 be accepted and that the contract for the conctruction
17 worts be awarded to said bidder.
18 BE IT FURTHEIR RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clark are
19 hereby authorized end directed to execute a contract in accordance
20 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
21 of Newport Beach, and that the City Cleric be directed to furnish
22 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
23 ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 1962.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 25th day of June 19 62 , by the following
vote, to wit:
