1 RESOLUTION NO. 5635,
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
3 AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NMAPORT HARBOR LA-tM
BOWLING ASSOCIATION

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Newport Harbor
6 Lawn Bowling Association entered into an agreement for the main-
7 tenance of the lawn bowling green at 15th Street and Balboa Blvd.,
8 which agreement expired June 30, 1962; and
9 WHEREAS, a new agreement has been presented to the City
10 Council providing for the maintenance of said green from July 1,
11 1962, through June 30, 1963, under the same terms and conditions
12 as the previous agreement, at the cost to the City of $75.00 per
13 month; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of said
15 agreement and found them to be fair and equitable and in the best
16 interests of the City;
17 NO757, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
18
the City
of Newport Beach that
said agreement be approved,
and the
19
Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to
execute
20 the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
21 ADOPTED this 9th day of July, 1961.

the foregoing Resolution No, 5635 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 9th day of July 1962 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Stoddard, Gruber, Cook, Hart, Lorenz,
Marshall, Elder
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
