RESOLUTION NO.S
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT BEACH ADOPTING A NAP SHOWING A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STR ET IaVGWN AS 16TH STREET IMICH
IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED
5 TPMREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
6 has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
7 certain map entitled "16th St. Realignment Tv9'st'ly from Dover Drive"
8 Drawing No. L »3128, dated Sept. 119 1961, showing a portion of said
9 16th Street in the City of Newport Beach -which the City is consider -
10 ing vacating, closing up and abandoning and which portion is more
11 particularly described as follows:
12 All that portion of Sixteenth Street, sixty (60) feet
in width, as showed on a map of Tract No. 1125 recorded
13 in Book 39, pages 7 and 8, Miscellaneous gaps, records
of Orange County, California, lying northwesterly of
14 a line that is parallel with and X50.00 feet northwest -
erly from the center line of Seventeenth Street (now known-
15 as Dover Drive) as shown on said map and lying southwest -
erl of the southwesterly line of a strip of land, sixty
16 (6q feet in width, lying thirty (30) feet on each side
17 of and adjoining the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Sixteenth
18 Street as shown on said map, said point being the
northwesterly terminus of a curve, concave southwesterly
19 and waving a radius of 600.00 feet., a central angle of
750 39' 35 "9 and an are length of 792.31 feet; thence,
20 S. 500 161.5 10 E . along a line tangent to said curve,
159.13 feet to a tangent curve, concave northeasterly
21 and having a radius of 1200 feet; thence, southeasterly
22 along said curve to said center line of Dover Drive.
23 HQ -71 TIC REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is
24 hereby approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
25 directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
26 of said portion of said street.
