RESOLUTION NO. 5654
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NE11PORT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A SUPPLE -
MENTAL PROJECT STATEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGMIAY FUND TO CITIES.
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the Ci
and the State of California on March 27, 1961, for expenditure of
funds allocated from the State highway fund to cities; and
'rMREAS, the City Council has prepared a supplemental
project statement showing estimated additional expenditures of
such funds required for Project #37 recommended; and
Tr7HEREAS, the Ciity Council has heard read said supple-
mental project statement and is familiar with the contents thereof;
110.7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t
City of Newport Beach that said supplemental project statement be
and it is hereby approved and adopted as an addition to previously
approved budgeted funds of the gas tax allocation to cities, and
the Public Works Director is directed to sign the same on behalf
of said City and submit it to the Department of Public Works,
State of California, in accordance with the provisions of Section
197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 1962.
