1 RESOLUTION NO. 5672
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWFORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EMCUTION OF AN
3 ADVERTISING AGREEPENT
5 WHEREAS, the City owns land in Huntington Beach at the
6 southeast corner of Brookhurst and Adams; and
7 VJHERZAS, Columbia Outdoor Advertising, 7591 Acacia Avenue
8 Garden Grove, California, has offered to execute an advertising
9 agreement under which the City would be paid 10¢ per square foot
10 of advertising space per month with a minimum of $50 per month per
11 sign for the erection and maintenance of three advertising signs
12 on said property for the initial period of two years with a pro -
13 vision for the extension thereof; and
14 6JHEREAS, it appears to be in the interests of the City
15 to authorize the execution of said agreement;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager be
17 and he is hereby authorized.to execute said agreement on behalf of
18 the City of Newport Beach.
