RESOLUTION NO. Sb 740
A RESOLUTION OF TI3E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT .BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT -OF EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a %Test Virginia corporation, has
executed a grant of easement to the City of Newport Beach for
street and highway purposes for the extension of Sea Lane and
the widening of Goldenrod Avenue over the real property in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning in the southwesterly boundary of Tract No. 3542
as shown on a map recorded in Book 124, pages 32 and 33 of
Miscellaneous Naps at a point distant thereon South 65'
24' 00" East 33.66 feet from the most westerly corner of
said tract; thence South 370 29' 59" West 27.63 feet to
the beginning of a curve concave southeasterly having a radius
of 260.00 feet; thence southerly 171.25 feet along said curve
through an angle of 370 44' 19 "; thence tangent South 0' 14'
20" East 47.13 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
easterly having a radius of 740.00 feet, the southerly
terminus of which is tangent to a line that is parallel
with and distant 250 feet northeasterly measured at right
angles from the southwesterly line of said block 93; thence
southerly 645.77 feet along said curve through an angle of
50 °00100" to said southerly terminus; thence tangent South
500 14' 2001 East 351.99 feet along said parallel line to the
beginning of a curve concave westerly having a radius of
15.00 feet, the southerly terminus of which is tangent to a
line that is parallel with and distant 30 feet northwesterly
measured at right angles from the southwesterly prolongation
of the southeasterly line of said tract; thence southerly
23.56 feet along said curve through an angle of 90' to said
southerly terminus; thence South 50' 140 2011 East 30.00 feet
to said southwesterly prolongation; thence North 39° 45' 4011
East 332.94 feet along said southwesterly prolongation to -
the most southerly corner of said tract; thence North 350 32'
5011 West 31.01 feet along the southwesterly boundary of said
tract to the most southerly corner of lot 12 of said tract;
thence South 39° 45' 4011 West 250.80 feet along a line that
is parallel with and distant 30.00 feet northwesterly measured
at right angles from said southwesterly prolongation to the
beginning of a curve concave northerly having a radius of
15.00 feet, the westerly terminus of which is tangent to :.a
line that is parallel with and distant northeasterly 310 feet
measured at right angles from said southwesterly line of
block 93; thence westerly 23.56 feet along said curve through
an angle of 90' to said westerly terminus; thence tangent
North 50° 14' 2031 West 351.99 feet along said pare."Iel 'Une
to the beginning -of a curve having a radius of 680 feet and
being concentric with the curve previously described herein

as having a radius of 740 feet; thence northwesterly
593.41 feet along said curve through an angle of
50° 00' 00 "; thence tangent North 00 14' 20" West
47.13 feet -to the beginning of a curve concave easterly
having a radius of 200 feet; thence northerly 131.73
feet along said curve through an angle of 37° 44' 19 ";
thence tangent North 370 29' 59" East 41.37 feet to the
most westerly comer of lot 1 of said tract; thence North
650 24' 00" West 61.56 feet along the southwesterly boundary
of said tract to the point of beginning.
WHERMS, Harbor View Hills Development Corporation, a
California corporation, as Lessee, has executed a Joinder and
Consent of Lessee to said grant of easement; and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
grant of easement and Joinder and Consent of Lessee for such
purposes;
NOWs THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement and Joinder and
Consent of Lessee be accepted and the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to execute and attach a certificate of acceptance
and consent to the recording of said documents in the County
Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this Y t. day of October, 1962.
