5 IKE112LB , a master agreement has been executed by the O.ity
6 and the State of California on March 27, 1961, for expenditure of
7 funds allocated from the State highway fund to cities; and
8 F- R!2 =3S, the City Council has prepared a project statemezi
9 showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made
10 during the 1962 - 63 fiscal year; and
11 TJPS, the City Council has heard read said project
12 statement and is'familiar with the contents thereof;

14 City of Newport Beach that said project statement be and it is
15 hereby approved and adopted as the budget of proposed expendit=ures
16 of the gas tax allocation to cities, and the Public ?orks Directs-
17 is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City and submit it
18 to the Department of Public Works, State of yalifornia, in accord -
19 ance with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Higbe =rays
20 Code.
