RESOLUTION NO. 5689
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE 1962 -63
3 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM AND MISCELLANEOUS PARRS
PROJECTS

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the 1962 -63 street maintenance program and miscellane-
7 ous parks projects in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with
8 the plans and specifications heretofore adopter:, bids were recelE7ac.
9 on the 21st day of November, 1962, and publicly opened and declared;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is WARREN SOUTIMEST, INC.;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Warren
14 Southwest, Inc., in the amount of $41,115.15 be accepted and that
15 the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 here'. -y- authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
