2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT.OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, Harvey D. Pease and Bomell Pease have executed a
5 grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach a temporary
6 construction easement over the following- described real property in
7 the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
8 to wit:
9 That portion of Carnation Avenue (formerly 30th
Avenue) as shown on the Map of Corona del Mar,
10 recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 & 42 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California,
11 described as follows:
12 The Northwesterly 15 feet of the Southeasterly 25
°'`- feet of said Carnation -Avenue bounded -on the So%tkar+_.._
13 west by the Northwesterly prolongation of the South'-'
westerly line of the Northeasterly 5 feet of Lot 14,
14 Block 231, of said Corona del Mar, and bounded on
the Northeast by the Northwesterly prolongation of
15 the Northeasterly line of Lot 18, said Block 231,
16 which easement shall terminate upon the completion of the construc-
17 tion work for which it was granted; and
18 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
19 said grant of easement for such purposes;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
21 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
22 and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
23 a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
24 grant of easement in the County Recorders office at such time as
25 the Director of Public Works determines such recording to be
26 necessary.
