RESOLUTION NO. 51 �,, 8'
A.RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPCELT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET
FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE
HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City
and the State of California on March 27, 1961, for expenditure of
funds allocated from the State highway fund to cities; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5684 a project statement was
adopted in November, 1962, which it is now necessary to replace;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a new project
statement showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended
to be made during the 1962 - 63 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said project
statement and is familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that Resolution No. 5684 be rescinded and
said new project statement be and it is hereby approved and adopted
as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation
to cities, and the Public Works Director is directed to sign the
same on behalf of said City and submit it to the Department of
Public Works, State of California, in accordance with the provisions
of Section 197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 1963.
