RESOLUTION NO. CZY$
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING FEES PURSUANT TO
SECTION 7507 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO GRADING
WHEREAS, Section 7507 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
being enacted by Ordinance No. 1018 provides for permit fees for
grading permits and for structures in watercourses in connection
therewith to be established by resolution; and
WHEREAS, said section will become effective on March 13,
1963, and it is necessary to establish fees for'the proper adminis-
tration of the provisions being enacted by said ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach hereby resolves and orders that, pursuant to said Section
7507 as the'same now reads or may hereafter be amended, the follow-
ing fees are hereby established:
Section 1. For grading permits and plan checking:
Grading Permit Fees
50 cubic yards or less .................. $ 10.00
51 to 100 cubic yards 20,00
101 to 1000 cubic yards ... . . $ 20.00 for
the first 100 cubic yards plus$7.00
for each additional 100 cubic yards
or fraction thereof
1001 to 10,000 cubic yards ............. $ 83.00 for
the first 1,000 cubic yards plus
$3.00 for each additional 1,000
cubic yards or fraction thereof
10,001 to 100,000 cubic yards .......... $110.00 for
the first 10,000 cubic yards plus
$20.00 for each additional 10,000
cubic yards or fraction thereof
100,001 to 200,000 cubic yards , $290.00 for
the first 100,000 cubic yards plus
$10.00 for each additional 10,000
cubic yards or fraction thereof

When
plans are required
for the proposed structure, an
additional fee for plan checking shall be paid at the time of sub-
mitting the application. Said plan checking fee shall be equal to
one -half (1/2) of the fee heretofore established in this section.

No additional fee shall be paid for checking corrections
required on the plans by the Public Works Director.
The City Council further resolves and orders that the
